How it works

Three steps — faster than bookmarking

1
Browse any product page

Shop like you normally do. Visit any product page on Amazon, Target, Etsy, Best Buy, or any other store.

2
Click the WishReceive icon

Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar. It reads the page and auto-fills the product name, price, image, and store.

3
Pick a list and save

Choose which wishlist to add it to, tweak anything if needed, and hit Save. Done — the item is on your list.

What the extension captures automatically

No more copy-pasting product details by hand

Product name

Reads the product title directly from the page, cleaned up and ready to go.

Price

Detects the current price, including sale prices when available.

Product image

Grabs the main product photo so your wishlist looks great at a glance.

Description

Pulls a short product description so gift buyers know exactly what you want.

Store name

Identifies which store the product is from — Amazon, Target, Etsy, or wherever you're shopping.

Product URL

Saves the direct link so gift buyers can find the exact product.

Works with major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Etsy, Wayfair, and thousands more.

Why use the extension instead of adding items manually?

One click, not five

Skip the copy-paste dance. Click the icon, pick a list, and save. The extension fills in everything else.

Saves 30+ seconds per item
Auto-fills everything

Name, price, image, description, and store — all detected automatically from the product page.

Three extraction methods for accuracy
Works where URLs don't

Major retailers like Amazon and Walmart block server-side scraping. The extension runs in your browser, so it always works.

Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy all supported
Remembers your list

The extension remembers the last wishlist you saved to, so you don't have to pick it every time.

Extension questions

The extension works on most product pages across the web, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Etsy, Wayfair, and thousands more. It uses multiple extraction methods to capture product details. On the rare page where auto-detection doesn't work, you can still edit the fields manually before saving.

Yes. The extension saves items to your WishReceive account, so you need to be logged in at wishreceive.com in the same browser. If you're not logged in, the extension will prompt you to sign in first.

The extension is built for Google Chrome. It also works in Chromium-based browsers like Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera. Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.

The extension requests three permissions: "activeTab" to read the current page when you click the icon, "scripting" to extract product data from the page, and "storage" to remember your last-used wishlist. It only activates when you click it — it never runs in the background or tracks your browsing.

Yes. The extension is published on the Chrome Web Store, so Chrome handles updates automatically. You don't need to do anything.

Yes, completely free. The extension is part of WishReceive, which is free with no paid tiers, no trial periods, and no credit card required.

Add items to your wishlist in one click.

Browse any store, click the icon, and it's on your list. The extension handles the rest.
